It is with a very sad heart that I say I will not be returning to Second Street Market when they reopen. Family always comes 1st and mine need me. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make and I’m so sad to be leaving, Taras Place was my dream come true. My prayers are that whoever takes over will be as blessed as I was. If you know anyone that might be interested in buying Tara’s I do have one of the best spots in the market right inside the front door, please have them contact me they can message me for my phone number. All equipment is also for sale. I will miss my market family but I’m part of the family they are not getting rid of! Thank you for all your love and all the meatballs you ate!❤️

We have 2 great new specials for this week! Ready for pick up on 5/13 or 5/15. The following week I will be out of town. Going to see my mom YEAHHH!! So let’s start with me saying I’m sorry for the lack of promised weekly specials, it is hard to find motivation these days! I miss you all and want to get back to my market family! That said here we go!

Well some good news for our local farmers! 2nd St Farmers Market will be opening beginning Sat., 5/23 from 10 am to 2 pm FOR OUTDOOR FARMERS ONLY! All precautions are being taken PLEASE go and support our farmers they are the best! They work all year for this season and their foods are amazing. You can bet I will be there every week! I miss REAL field grown tomatoes, cukes, beans ALL OF IT! You are encouraged to order early and pick up your order, I will forward any contact information I receive. Please support our farmers!! I hope this finds you all well and very hungry! This week specials are delicious so for the week of 4/27
these specials as always are in addition to our full regular menu! Sorry it was brought to my attention that I forgot prices so both of the specials will be the same cost as the Lasagna serving 8 or 12.

#1. Creamy Chicken Casserole over Penne
Moist and delicious roast white meat chicken with fresh sautéed mushrooms and bacon in a creamy cheese sauce mixed with Penne and ready to go! Add a salad and some homemade bread for a delicious dinner!

#2. Roast Chicken Parmesan Casserole w/ Spaghetti
Chunks of flavorful white meat chicken, mixed with spaghetti, rich marinara sauce and an abundance of cheese. I love this because it comes out of the oven smelling like heaven, all bubbly and cheesy! Okay folks I am very sorry but for some reason FB will not let me update my menu and add this weeks specials so our regular full menu is all available and this week (4/1 now) our specials are:

Italian Sausage (locally made) sub with sautéed peppers and onions covered in homemade marinara and melty provolone cheese.

$35 for 4 Subs includes small bag of chips

$65 for 8

OR

Spaghetti with Italian Sausage (locally made), sautéed onions and peppers and topped with homemade marinara.

*Announcement* I'm excited to announce that you can now order your Tara's Place favorites to enjoy at home! Some of our most loved items are available for pick-up on Wednesday's and Friday's beginning March 18. Wednesday pick-up orders must be placed by NOON on Monday and Friday orders must be placed by NOON on Wednesday. Items will be prepared and ready for you to bake in your own oven. I will work with each individual to arrange a pick-up time and location.
