Salt Block is growing — and we’re excited to announce our next chapter at 1916 Brown Street ☕🥐🍷

What started six years ago as a dream during one of the most uncertain times for small businesses has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Salt Block is expanding into a new space designed to bring even more connection, creativity, and hospitality to Dayton.

Our new Brown Street location will feature:
✨ Expanded seating & gathering spaces
✨ Patio seating
✨ A larger deli-style café experience
✨ Expanded coffee, bakery, brunch, lunch, dinner & catering offerings
✨ Beer, wine & brunch cocktails
✨ Room for community events, meetings & celebrations

Most importantly, it will still feel like Salt Block — warm, welcoming, chef-driven, and community focused.

This move represents more than just a new restaurant space. It’s an investment in Dayton, local business, and creating a place where people can gather from morning coffee to evening conversations.

We’re targeting an Early 2027 opening and can’t wait to share behind-the-scenes updates along the way. In the meantime, you can still find your Salt Block favorites on Third St. until we make our move.
