The picnic on Monday, August 23, 2010 was UD first zero-landfill waste picnic, composting or recycling 100% of the picnic waste!

It was very exciting to see so many people back at UD. Today was the Grand Opening at the Runway in Kennedy Union. Stop by and try one of the great specialty sandwiches.

We are getting ready to start another great year, but first we should recap that last year we hosted more than 10 special dinners, composted over 400,000 lbs of food waste and disposable products and won a national award for our operations in Marycrest!

As we begin to wrap up this year, Dining Services would like to say Thank You to the UD community with our Culinary Extravaganza. This Wednesday from 5 PM - 8 PM in KU, Marycrest and VWK we will pull out all the stops and offer great food at an unbelievable price. Complete menus will be posted soon on our website.
