What a turnout yesterday! I sold about 175 burgers and 100 hotdogs. It was great seeing friends and repeat customers! If this was your first time, I hope you’ll be back again soon! The rain came down hard and my area turned into a bog, but we bounced backed and finished strong.

A huge shout out to my workers, especially the 3 boys who were watching me set up earlier in the morning. They were from the neighborhood hanging out on their bikes, enjoying the scene of people piling into the mini mart and out into the parking lot. I jokingly, though kinda honestly, asked if they wanted to help me out today and they all said, “SURE!” What started as small task ice runs, turned into helping me plate the chips, squeeze and shake the lemonades, put toppings on the burgers, and even take a few orders! A couple of them were interviewed by Cincinnati 12 News! If their parents are reading this, I want you to know you raised some hard working and well mannered kids. They were a huge help to me and I’d be happy to hire them one day in the future.

Thanks again to everyone who showed up! If you enjoyed your Buc-uu burger, let me know in the comments!
