started making his own barbecue sauce when he couldn’t find any sauce on the market that he really liked. So he started experimenting with making his own sauce for family pig pickings and BBQ chicken cookouts. Everyone started saying that he should bottle the sauce because it was so good. So he and his wife, Peggy, decided to try it. The first batch that they bottled was made in their kitchen and

bottled by hand. It soon became so popular locally that they decided to buy a small bottling machine and turned their garage into a barbecue sauce factory.
