Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Chef, Kashmyr Adler! 👩‍🍳

Kashmyr's love of cooking started young, but it wasn't until 2020 that she decided to turn her passion into a career. She enrolled at Mitchell Community College and earned her associate's degree in Culinary Arts, building a foundation that included both front-of-house and kitchen experience before she ever stepped into our doors.

Not long after joining the Flatiron team, Kashmyr's creativity, work ethic, and eagerness to learn set her apart. She was promoted to Sous Chef and spent the next several years training directly under Chef Bill Schutz, soaking up his expertise in Asian and French culinary techniques. She's also staged under Michelin-starred chefs at one of the Hamptons' most exclusive resorts, sharpening her skills in crafting dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious. That blend of mentorship, training, and sheer passion made her the clear choice to step into the Executive Chef role.

Kashmyr describes the kitchen as her happy place, sharing that "My favorite part of my job is creating something new and exciting that brings people in to experience the passion behind the dishes." As a vegetarian, she's especially excited to introduce more plant-based dishes designed to wow guests alongside her other creations.

Kashmyr is committed to honoring Chef Bill's legacy while adding her own creative touches to every plate. She shared, "I am determined to continue Chef Bill's legacy as well as adding my own touches to prove my dedication in this role. Not only for myself, but for the community."
