#225 - Visited Paducah (KY) on 10/12/25

3/20/26 - #226 at the Pizza Ranch in Norwalk, IA (preceding a wedding DJ gig in Indianola the same day; media interest from The Des Moines Register)

6/28/26 - #227 at the Pizza Ranch in Round Lake Beach, IL (preceding a wedding DJ gig in Schaumburg, IL, the same day; no media interest for that location)

7/7/26 - #228 at the Pizza Ranch in Prairie du Chien, WI (preceding a wedding DJ gig in Norwalk, WI, on 7/8/26; media interest from WKBT and the PDC Courier)

8/16/26 - #229 at the future Pizza Ranch in Thief River Falls (MN) and #230 at the future Pizza Ranch in Park Rapids (MN) (following a wedding DJ gig in East Grand Forks, MN, on 8/15/26; media interest from the TRF Times and WDAY)

The Pizza Ranch in Colorado Springs (CO), the Pizza Ranch in Great Falls (MT), and the Pizza Ranch in Williston (ND): a future “West Coast Swing 2.0” that will happen in summer 2026 or summer 2027, all hinging on when Colorado Springs opens. For me, 6/12/26 is the key date here that will determine which year that swing occurs.

If this occurs in 2026, it would be Colorado Springs on 8/12/26, Great Falls on 8/13/26, and Williston on 8/14/26.

Still monitoring the future Pizza Ranch in Quincy (IL) and the future Pizza Ranch in Clarksville (TN).

The post-quest is underway!

Yesterday I visited my first Pizza Ranch post-quest location: the Pizza Ranch in Paducah (KY), currently the only one in the Bluegrass State.

This means I have now visited 225 locations across 15 states.

07/21/2025

So officially the post-quest begins.

Today, July 21, the Pizza Ranch in Thief River Falls (MN) officially opens. As of now, I don't have a date yet of when I plan to visit them, but when I do, I will be sure to let you know. Whenever I do get there, the TRF Times plans to meet with me.

That said, next Monday July 28, the Pizza Ranch in Paducah (KY) will have their grand opening, and I do have a date to visit them: Paducah will be my first post-quest location visited on Sunday October 12, bringing me up to 225 locations across 15 states at that point. And whenever I get there, WPSD-TV plans to meet with me.

So here's an update on my post-quest.

As of now, of the 224 locations I have been to on the initial quest, 214 are now active, as the Pizza Ranch in Pocahontas (IA) is set to reopen.

And as of now, 7 post-quest locations are listed as Coming Soon, and one finally has an opening date.

All post-quest locations I will visit at least two months after they open, so that way the new management has ample time to settle in, and it allows the initial hype to calm down before the media meets with me.

1. The Pizza Ranch in Thief River Falls (MN) is set to be the first post-quest location to open, to occur on July 21. September 21 is therefore the minimum date for me to consider a visit there, and the TRF Times is set to meet with me there whenever I do.

2. The Pizza Ranch in Paducah (KY) is still coming along well. Whenever I make it there, WPSD-TV is set to meet with me there.

3. The Pizza Ranch in Great Falls (MT) is also coming along well. Whenever I make it there, Joee Taylor of KFBB (part ABC FOX Montana, aka NonStop Local) is set to meet with me there.

4. The Pizza Ranch in Prairie du Chien (WI) does not have a page yet, but they are coming along well. Whenever I make it there, the Courier Press and WKBT, or News 8 Now / News 8000, is set to meet with me there.

5. The Pizza Ranch in Norwalk (IA) also does not have a page yet, but they are coming along well. Whenever I make it there, someone with The Des Moines Register is set to meet with me there.

6. The Pizza Ranch in Williston (ND) is coming along well. Whenever I make it there, my hope is to meet with Jody Kerzman of KFYR-TV or someone with one of their sister stations there.

7. The Pizza Ranch in Round Lake Beach (IL) is coming along well. As of now: there is no interest from any media to meet with me there, but that's OK.

So since I'm no longer on my initial quest, now into the post-quest, I've changed my Page name to better reflect my pers...

So since I'm no longer on my initial quest, now into the post-quest, I've changed my Page name to better reflect my persona. Long known as the Legendary Pizza Ranch Guest, I am now Pizza Ranch's Legendary Ranch Fan, as depicted on the sweatshirt they gifted me after I completed the initial quest at the Pizza Ranch in Sioux Center (IA).

I've changed my cover and profile pics to recent visits of me visiting locations all over again, but this time with me wearing the Legendary Ranch Fan sweatshirt.

My profile pic is at the new location of the Pizza Ranch in North Liberty (IA), #7 for me, and currently the home to the largest FunZone in all of Pizza Ranch.

My cover photo is at the Pizza Ranch in Plover (WI), otherwise known as the Stevens Point Area location, which is #81 for me.

So here's how my Pizza Ranch post-quest is shaping up to look as of now.

In Thief River Falls (MN), the local newspaper, the TRF Times, is interested in talking with me. And they currently have a page, Pizza Ranch & FunZone Arcade - Thief River Falls, MN.

In Paducah (KY), the local TV station WPSD-TV is interested in talking with me. And they currently have a page, Pizza Ranch & FunZone Arcade - Paducah, KY.

In Great Falls (MT), Joee Taylor of KFBB (part of ABC FOX Montana, aka NonStop Local) has renewed her interest in talking with me. And they have a page, Pizza Ranch & FunZone Arcade - Great Falls, MT.

In Prairie du Chien (WI), the local paper, the Courier Press, and the La Crosse TV station WKBT, or News 8 Now / News 8000, are both interested in talking with me.

And in Norwalk (IA), The Des Moines Register has renewed their interest in talking with me again.

None of these have opening dates yet, but as they do, I'll be sure to let you know.

Just the other day, another Pizza Ranch has now closed.

That means as of now, of the 224 locations I have visited, only 215 still remain active, even before my first post-quest locations have opened.

In order by when I first visited them, these are the 9 locations I visited that no longer exist:

As you all know, I have visited 224 Pizza Ranch locations, including every single active one.

During the quest, 6 of the locations I visited closed before the whole initial quest was completed.

Those were:

#15 in Eldora, IA
#30 in Ackley, IA
#35 in Apple Valley, MN
#43 in Papillion, NE
#130 in Garner, IA
#133 in Canton, SD

Since then, 2 more locations have now closed, the latter occurring just today. That means as of this post, only 216 active locations exist today.

#123 in Pocahontas, IA
#162 in New Prague, MN
