A year of faith. A year of lessons. A year of GOOD FOOD. A year of people telling us we couldn't… and GOD showing us WE COULD. 🙌🏾

Davenport showed up. Des Moines showed up. My FAMILY showed up. My TEAM showed up. ❤️

I think I need to go down here and play Quality Control with my daughters at Soul Ties 😂😂 Try a little bit of EVERYTHING on the menu… you know, just to make sure they doing it right! 👀🍽️

I heard the food been hitting, but as their mama I feel like it’s my responsibility to investigate personally. 😂😂 And YES, I’m hungry! 😩

DAVENPORT MEETS DES MOINES! 🖤✨

This celebration means a little more to me than most people know. ❤️

Friday 28th is also the birthday of my Dad, Gene Baker, who is no longer here with us. So while we celebrate ONE YEAR OF SOUL TIES, I’ll also be celebrating him, his life, and the legacy that continues through our family. 🕊️❤️

Des Moines raised me. Davenport is home. And this weekend we’re bringing TWO CITIES TOGETHER FOR ONE BIG CELEBRATION! 🎉🔥

Thank you to everybody who supported us, shared a post, brought somebody to eat, came back again and again, or simply spoke our name in a room we weren’t in.
