Zio Carlo Zio Carlo is an Italian Coffee Shop and Cafe situated in Historic Downtown Darien, GA, serving Itali We also offer homemade pastries, biscotti and Tiramisu.

Zio Carlo is a full service coffee shop offering Italian Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, and other coffee drinks. For lunch, we have Italian Hoagie sandwiches featuring homemade meatballs and sauce, imported Italian cold-cuts, and fresh sliced meats. In addition to the homemade Tiramisu, we offer imported Italian desserts.

The last Ciao Y'all for me on Broad Street will be as we close for the day on Saturday, December 17th. I hope to see as many of you as possible between now and then. It has been a joy to know and serve you for the past 6 and 3/4 years. Like you, I look forward to what Dana brings to the table (figuratively, but more so literally) in the coming new year!

Every new beginning comes from some other’s beginning’s end. I have agreed to sell Zio Carlo to make room for the next chapter in his life. The past almost 7 years have been truly amazing. I could never thank you enough.
Something new and fresh will be coming to Broad Street in the next month. I hope that you will support Dana Pontello in her new venture as much as you have supported me and Zio Carlo.
