To all our valued customers. We would like to give you an update and thank everyone for your input. We would also like to respond to some of the comments. First, we can't reopen at our old location. Greg tried to purchase the property, but the owner was not interested in selling to us. Next, Greg did buy a property on Ferry Street that we thought would be a good location only to find out that the commercial property was not zoned for retail sales and after losing our appeal we decided to move on. Another building was available on Mill Street but was a standard store and not a restaurant. We ran into a lot of red tape from the zoning board. It would have been too costly an endeavor. We never intended to move the Muffin Man from the immediate town area and although the location is not perfect, we can be up and running in the shortest amount of time. once up and running we do plan on having a delivery service to Danville and in the near future a mobile food truck to help serve you. The truck would be parked on designated sites certain days of the week.

We are sitting here with great sadness and heavy hearts as we write this. We regret to inform you that tomorrow, Saturday September 12, 2020, will be our last day doing business at 43 3rd st (formerly 15 S. D&H Ave) in Riverside.
The past few months have been a struggle for us, along with many other small business owners, and even though we were unable to make it work at our current location - we are not ready to throw the towel in yet!
We are currently looking for a new location and weighing out our options so that we can continue to serve you, our loyal customers--- who have kept us going for the past 15 years!!

On July 1st, 2005 ,( 15 years ago!!) we took over ownership of The Muffin Man. We never could have imagined how much this business, our customers and employees would come to mean to us. We have crossed paths with so many amazing people and have had many customers and employees- turn into life long friends. We will be forever grateful for the friends we have gained from this business.
We want to thank our family and friends- for being our support system and for encouraging us every step of the way, especially during the hard times.
We want to thank our staff- past and present- for working hard to keep our business alive, we truly could not have done it without you.
And last, but certainly not least- to our Customers, Thank you so much. It has been a true blessing getting to see so many people come through our doors, to see strange faces have become familiar- and one time passer-bys, turned into regular customers. So many of you have been here with us through every step of the way, even during this pandemic, and we are so appreciative of each and every one of you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

We apologize for the short notice, everything has happened very quickly. We ask that you spread the word to anyone that may not see this.
Please stop in tomorrow for one last visit to "The muffin shop across the street from the train station". It will be a bitter-sweet day as we share our memories and bring an end to this chapter of our story.
We will continue to remain positive and hopeful as we look for a location and begin our next chapter.

We will keep you updated a long the way!!

Due to the heat we decided to keep it light this week. our dinner choices are:

Oriental Chicken Salad ( a mix of grilled chicken, bowtie pasta, spinach, mandarin oranges, cran-raisins, honey roasted peanuts and water chestnuts tossed in an Asian sesame dressing. $12.95
or
Tropical Fruit and Grilled Shrimp Salad served on a bed of mixed greens with almond slices, coconut and feta cheese with a mango vinaigrette dressing. $12.95
