Take a quick look at the list of restaurants who will be donating 10% of their sales tomorrow, June 9th to God's Storehouse Eat Out to Help Out event. 27 or the 29 restaurants are locally owned and operated. This demonstrates how supporting local companies redistributes money into the local community non-profits and organizations.

We have an awesome double feature planned for Saturday (March 14h) evening! Join us we welcome Gabriel Van with their eclectic mix of Bluegrass/Americana/Folk. These guys are hot off their performance headlining the Billy Strings atter party in Asheville last month. Better catch them before they go big-time! And while you’re jamming with these guys, we’ll have the ‘Beer Yoga Master’, Lee Herndon from 3 Roads Brewing and Ballad Brewing sampling their beers and handing out merch. If you ask nicely, you may even get Lee to strike one of his famous poses! Beer will be flowing at 6:00pm and the tunes start at 7pm, we hope to see you!

Thanks for everyone’s patience! Now, I’m gonna sit down and enjoy this fine cup of espresso, which I’ve been waiting for all week!

Well, it’s Saturday morning and we were kinda hoping we’d wake up to some good news about the water, but alas, it’s seems we have to wait until possibly this afternoon to get the green light. I spoke with our Vice-Mayor, Councilman James Buckner and he said the city is waiting for the 24 hr re-test period to come back, which should be around mid-afternoon today. So for now, we’re operating under same conditions as we’ve been doing all week. Essentially this means the only products we can’t sell are espresso drinks and anything with ice. We’ve purged all of our coffee and ice machines, installed new filters, and now we anxiously await the A-ok. You can be sure we’ll let you know when that happens!!! One last thing, please don’t forget your local, mom and pop restaurants, as between all the snow and ice storms, and this water situation, it’s been a rough month.
