We are so sorry to announce that we can no longer make coffee, as our baby our espresso machine is being taken down today. 💔 Thank you all so much for your love, support, and every cup you’ve shared with us. We appreciate you more than you know.

Kate’s Café will be closing its doors next week, and Tuesday will be our last day. We’re sorry for the short notice, and we’re incredibly sad to leave. This café has been such an amazing experience, and we are beyond grateful for every single person who walked through our doors, supported us, shared our posts, brought their families in, or simply gave us a chance. But this is not goodbye forever. We truly believe Kate’s Café will come back better than ever. When that day comes, we hope to bring back everything you loved while also adding new items, more nutritious options, and so much more. For now, it’s a goodbye… but one day, it’ll be a beautiful hello again. 🩷
We’re sorry to anyone who may be disappointed. Please know how much we love and appreciate every single one of you. While we’re still open, come by, enjoy your favorites, spend some time with us, and let us say our goodbyes properly🌟

Yesterday reminded us why we never wanted to give up on Kate’s Café. 🩷 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who came out yesterday. Whether you stopped in for a coffee, grabbed a smoothie, sat down with friends, left us a review, shared our posts, or simply walked through our doors you made a difference. Yesterday wasn’t just about sales. It was about hope and love
To everyone who came to support us for the very first time, thank you for giving us a chance. To our regulars who continue to believe in us, thank you for never giving up on us. Seeing our café full, hearing conversations, laughter, and watching people enjoy the space we’ve worked so hard to build reminded us exactly why we started this journey.
A huge thank you to Carole Hylton for organizing this incredible Local Love Bomb Project What started as a test run became something so much bigger. You brought people together, and because of you, so many small businesses felt seen, supported, and loved. We will never forget it. Yesterday I also had the privilege of talking with other local business owners. Hearing their stories reminded me that none of us are alone. Every small business faces challenges, sacrifices, and moments where giving up feels easier than pushing forward. But yesterday showed us something even more powerful… This community shows up. Danville has reminded us that when neighbors support neighbors, amazing things happen. A simple conversation, a smile, someone choosing to spend their morning with us it all matters more than you know. Kate’s Café has always been more than coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. It’s been a place where friendships begin, families gather, students study, people celebrate, and teenagers have the opportunity to work their very first job. Watching all of that continue yesterday filled our hearts🥹🩷
To everyone who believed in us yesterday…
Thank you for reminding us that we’re not fighting this battle alone. We still have work to do but yesterday gave us something we desperately needed hope

Thank you so much to Shekedra Jones for taking the time to make a video about Kate’s Café. 🩷 Your kindness and support mean more than you know we appreciate you as a human being 🩷🌟 we love to see her here for her Kate’s smoothie as a regular🥹🌟
As many of you know, we’re going through a rough patch, and there’s a real possibility we may have to close our doors at the end of this month.
Kate’s Café has been more than just a café. It’s been a place where local teens have gotten their very first jobs, learned responsibility, built confidence, and found a place they genuinely love. Even now, they’re making TikToks, sharing our story, and doing everything they can because they don’t want to see Kate’s Café disappear. And honestly… neither do I. I’m Kate, and I don’t want to say goodbye to something we’ve built together. This café has become a home for so many people, and I’m willing to keep fighting for it.
