With two members of our staff heading off to college in a couple weeks, we are looking for some new additions to our Tea Team! 🫶

Do you love tea? Then you'll love working at Tea Camilla! We are a small specialty tea store tucked right around the corner from Downtown Danvers, Massachusetts. We are a combination of a retail tea store specializing in loose-leaf tea, gift shop, & tea cafe serving drinks and pastries.

Responsibilities:
🍵 Preparing and serving cafe drinks such as steeped tea, teapots of hot tea, iced tea, matcha, hot cocoa, artisan and specialty beverages
🍵 Serve prepared food items such as scones, cookies, & brownies, etc.
🍵 Cleaning work areas, utensils and equipment
🍵 Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
🍵 Adherence to food safety standards, company policies, and procedures.
🍵 Describing cafe menu items and suggesting products to customers
🍵 Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
🍵 Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter
🍵 Downtime tasks between customers such as filling pouches of tea for our tea wall, making free sample packets, & other necessary small tasks.

Qualifications:
🌸 Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred, but not required.
🌸 Prior training and/or a willingness to learn about food and beverage preparation.
🌸 Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
🌸 Availability to work around peak hours, which at Tea Camilla are weekends, afternoons between 12 and 4pm, and the Fall through Spring season.
🌸 Availability during our busy December Christmas Gift Season
🌸 A polite, engaging personality
🌸 Commitment to our customers having the best experience
🌸 Ability to take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of dairy, sugar ratios, tea blend, etc.)
🌸 Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure during the occasional rush
