Stop by Johnnie’s & get some delicious & amazing food & grab a bottle or 2 of Jimmy’s dressing! It is truly with mixed emotions that Jimmy's Famous Beef & Seafood Restaurant announces the retirement of its owner and founder, James Diantgikis. Jimmy is known to so many people throughout the North Shore and has delivered his special brand of roast beef and seafood with consistent high-quality and friendly service for the last 55 years to the wonderful people in the town of Danvers and surrounding communities.

Jimmy wants to thank all of his customers for their loyalty and a special thanks to so many regular customers, many of whom have been coming to his restaurant since his earliest days. So many individuals have conveyed their love of his dishes and, of course, his famous House dressing. Many have said how they have grown up on Jimmy’s food and now they even bring their own families and children. It is therefore, with the heaviest of hearts, that Jimmy has made his decision to close his doors and to retire. However, this is also a very happy time that Jimmy looks back upon how well his hard work has brought happiness to many and he is grateful that his restaurant has played even a small part in the happy memories for so many.

 Once again, Jimmy expresses his heartfelt thanks to all his customers over the last 55 years and wishes nothing but the best for everyone who he has had the pleasure of meeting and serving over this time. The good memories that so many people have shared with us is an important part of the legacy of this great and dedicated man. We all wish Jimmy the very best for continued health and happiness as he transitions to a very well-deserved retirement. The last official day of business is Saturday, March 12th.
