It is with a heavy heart that I announce the loss of my father, Wilfred David. He was a wonderful man whose smile and friendly nature touched the lives of many. His rapid decline in his health was very unexpected. He has touched the hearts of many with his outgoing and extremely helpful nature. He loved to be around people who, in return, enjoyed his company. We are completely devastated to have lost one of the most important people in our lives.

Thank you all for your kind words and support as we navigate our next steps without him in them.

I appreciate all of the messages, phone calls, and in person kind words.

On a positive note, before we had to close for medical reasons, we had a prior, scheduled wedding catering to fulfill. We kept our word. We did what we had to, to the best of our abilities and we are proud to have been invited to perform our first ever catering for a wedding. Thank you to Emma and Jay for the experience and inviting us to enjoy your special day with you. Best wishes to a wonderful future together! We will share our photos below.

Unfortunately our opening is a little up in the air right now. My father's health is a bit of a roller coaster that now requires 24/7 care. His medical diagnosis didn't provide very positive feedback. We have a lot of appointments going on right now with him and I will be starting physical therapy next week.

We will keep you all updated. To our little followers that are also looking forward to our opening, we appreciate you too!

Again, we appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you so much for all of the support. I am extremely grateful and anxious to come back! We miss all of you.

Happy Monday!
Just a little update for us once again.

After a month, we are finally home! My father is unable to get around by himself and requires 24/7 care.. We will have dialysis 3X a week and possible radiation therapy 5 days a week. That part is still to be determined.

Our walk in cooler is fixed! My surgery is approaching very fast. 😳 The good news is that by the end of the month, we will both be on the mend! Our hours will extremely be dictated by appointments. I will be alongside my father, where I need to be.

Please keep an eye out for our hours. They will be varied as we navigate ahead..

Update:
I am at the building cleaning up today but we are not open.

While I'm dealing with insurance and taking inventory for the loss of items in my walk in cooler, it's been discovered that somewhere along the lines of equipment being repaired, the wrong breaker was shut off. Unfortunately with a few different people in and out of the panel box, my cameras cannot differentiate which one actually was the result. This caused the loss of the inventory in both of my upright freezers. None of which my insurance chain will cover at the moment. As of now, the only inventory we have left is warm soda. We have ZERO Inventory and have to start completely over from day 1.

I have had my extreme breakdown this morning when I discovered this. Now, I have brushed myself off, and I will continue to clean up! I will find a way to recover from this! I will find a way to build our business back up again!

We need your support and thoughts now, more than ever!

Hello everyone!
Just another update to keep everyone informed on our status.

On a personal level, we are currently still at the hospital with my father.

We are also currently waiting on parts to fix our walk in cooler.

My surgery is scheduled in 2 weeks.

Thank you all for the continued support, well wishes, and prayers. We are still here!

Please continue to support us through this time. Again, we are not permanently closing. We are just having a bad case of the hiccups. 😂 😂

Good evening.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out with well wishes and prayers. Unfortunately, we are still at the hospital.

While here, we went to check on our tiny building and found out that our walk in cooler is down. We contacted a repair service and are waiting for parts. We have lost all of our inventory. It may be a bit longer than expected for us to open.

We are staying positive. This is a reminder:
When you think you have it rough, just hang in there, and never give up because somewhere, someone has it worse than you do.

We will be back! Just a little hiccup.

We are sorry we couldn't open on Thursday.

We are unsure if we will be open tomorrow, Friday or not. If we are able to open, I will keep everybody posted as to the time.

If all goes well, we're hoping to definitely be open for Saturday's customer appreciation day.
