This week I’ve had the honor of working side by side with a beautiful, sleep-deprived 💤 sourdough QUEEN. Fueled by caffeine, chaos, and questionable amounts of flour. 🥖☕️
We’re out here learning new things, making little masterpieces, and laughing through the proofing process. 😅

Dreaming a dream is easy. 💭
Building on that dream is slow and steady work. One step at a time.🪜

Today, this looked like two business partners sitting on a ladder in the middle of our shell of a shop, making plans for all the things we wanna do. What may look like a construction zone to others is the beginning of something we’ve been dreaming about for a long time. 🥹🩵

Blue Smoke Java Co. is being built with hard work, faith, community and a vision to create something more than just a coffee shop. ✨

There are still plenty of late nights, decisions, and finishing touches ahead, but when we’re able to pause and sit down and look at everything we’re doing, it makes it all worth it.

Y’all are known for having some of the freshest produce, but not everybody knows that you also offer super fresh, made-to-order deli sandwiches on Leahanne’s Heritage Breads, LLC! Pair it with their homemade orange juice and it is 🍊

Literally the kind of sandwich I crave on a hot summer day—especially when I’m out on the lake. 🚤💦

Hey guys, Shelby here. 👋

A friend told me about this coffee shop in Maryville that I just had to try. They roast their own beans, it has a giant porch with tons of places to lounge. Inside, it’s two stories & GOEGEOUS! ✨

I got a quality vanilla iced latte, homemade blueberry muffin, a lil book about Jesus, a plant named Lucky, and some really nice conversation.

Honestly, it was such a special place and I started to feel guilty that my business partner, Katie wasn’t with me. I realize I can no longer go to a new coffee shop without her. It just felt wrong. 😅

We might be your local caffeine dealers ☕..... But we're also big believers that good music hits just as strong. 🎶

There's just something about Tennessee and country music - it's part of the heartbeat of this place.

We plan to bring that same love for live music into the shop soon. 👀

We haven’t had much free time lately, with the whole opening a business and such. But, our electrician told us we needed to go on a trip to a coffee shop & check out their lighting and we’re not ones to argue. 😉

So, we decided to head to a coffee shop we've been wanting to try called Small Town Bisto in Pigeon Forge. ☕️

The people there were so sweet. Customer service TOP TIER. The retail section was amazing! We wanted to buy most of it but we refrained.
We had the blueberry french toast iced latte and the honey, cinnamon and brown sugar iced latte.
The space was comfy and the coffee was delicious!!

Go check them out if you're over in that area!🫶
