Outside of work, she loves traveling, fishing , spending time outdoors, and carrying on her family’s legacy as the sixth generation to help operate their beef cattle farm. She’s our Sunday girl, so come by, grab a pint and talk cows🥰🐮

Outside of the Heron, Chris stays busy but always makes time for what matters most—spending time with family and friends, cooking for the people she loves, reading a good book, and taking the occasional road trip. She's happiest anywhere there's water, whether it's the beach, Hanging Rock Lake, or sitting by the Dan River after a shift.

Outside of the Green Heron, Amelia is the Director of her local county Soil and Water and runs a 1st generation raw milk micro-dairy. She is extremely passionate about her cows and horses. She is also raising the next generation to stand up for agriculture in a world that too often forgets where its food comes from.
