Well Hello there Grunites... "Long time" would be an understatement to say the least, yet here we are! Haha, first off all is well with myself (Paul) and Mery's (co-worker for years) Artisan Food Trailer is off and running (aka making deliciousness in every possible way!!!) at our old stomping grounds at 100 Mill Plain (behind the building). KEEP AN EYE OUT AND STAY POSTED! My intention was to promote for Mery much more, but unfortunately we were in a possible "sale" that stopped me from doing so, as well as posting in general. Unfortunately, as I abided by my terms, the other side interested in buying did not, and here we are. More than anything I want to further Mery's career as a new and amazing food truck owner. For those non-regulars, Mery was the HEART of the Grunion and without her, I would never have made it 8+ years. While my current run is over, she is just beginning to ascend in ALL ways so please do yourselves a favor and CHECK HER OUT ASAP!!!
As far as me, I'm currently working in West Hartford at a place called GastroPark Wed-Sat managing the kitchen and bar so come say Hey! It's a fantastic, new yet rustic food-truck park, with a small kitchen and amazing independent coffee shop and bakery (Perkatory Coffee Roasters and Small State Provisions ) A Full Bar as well with house batched cocktails on tap we make from only the best/freshest ingredients and a very local CT centric Beer program! I'm also booking the kitchen as a Pop-Up event space (Grunion 2.0 perhaps for a bit... welllll 🤔🫣😉😎) Definitely worth the visit, and very much where I believe this industry is heading and I'm excited to be a part of the ride
The fate of the Grunion aka '... Well, it's up in the air honestly, but will never die!!! Haha, I mean, I will not, cannot afford to sit on it, but I'm not going to go to the lowest bidder either or folks who may run it in the ground (hence where we are now just the same), so I'm figuring it out and I'll be posting as we make progress, when and as soon as able. I also apologize to ALL the folks I was not able/allowed to get back too. Selling a business has rules which I understand, yet leaving you ALL in the dark was as painful as it was for me as I KNOW it was for many of you. The Green Grunion, plain and simple, is NOTHING without you and as much as I may not have shown it at times, I promise until my last breath I soooooooo appreciate each and every one of you, and the love you have given us over the years! It is unspeakable, as there are no words to express the gratitude I have for the years of support and straight love that you bestowed upon us and we continually (to this very minute) receive!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙌❤️🔥🌯😎

Today is a bit Symbolic, as the LAST day of the year (2021 incase you had any doubts 😉), AND the LAST day of the GRUNION for about a month (100 Mill Plain 11-2!!!), as we do some much needed repairs, take some much needed rest, and try to help those who we've been to busy to lend a hand! It's healing time folks... We have EVERYTHING for NOW, yet Pollo is low and when we sell out, it's GONE! So cross your fingers and come get dat THANK YOU ALL for the last year 🤙❤️🤙🔥🌯🥟🥲😎 ' ova 'n OUT... OH, and NO TEXT ahead please, as it WILL be busy and first come first serve!!!

So we unfortunately CANCELLED ' at GastroPark today, as the weather was not cooperating for our extended ride ... BUT the Silver Lining is we will be OPEN at 100 Mill Plain Rd in Danbury!!! So LOCALS unite, haha, 11:30-2!!! We have all the STUFFS, so come get yo Grind-Grind on 🤙🔥🌯🥟

1+1=2... 2+2=4... Friday LUNCH with Fish Tacos SP, Dry Rub Pork Butt Cali's SP, and Veggie Empys SP = MAXIMUM 'n stuffs!!! What a day, mid-50s, and with Easter RIGHT around the corner, wait, WHAT?!?! It's DEC 17th, ehhhhhh, so I mean Christmas then 🤷 Anywho, 100 Mill Plain is da place (11:30-2 is da time) Friday's Holly Jolly indeedido ;)))
