Our Shrimp Baguette starts with a fresh baguette piled with Cajun shrimp, green onion, tomato, lettuce, Parmesan & remoulade — a fresh, flavorful spin on a classic shrimp po’ boy. 🥖

💵 A LITTLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT ABOUT CASH 💵

Cards are convenient, and we absolutely understand why people use them. But if you’ve ever wondered why so many small businesses appreciate cash, here’s one reason:

Every time a card is used, the business accepting it pays a processing fee. Around 3–4% is pretty common.

So imagine a $20 bill.

If that same $20 is spent in cash 10 different times, it’s still a $20 bill. It can move from customer to business, business to employee, employee to another local business, and keep circulating at its full value.

Now imagine $20 being spent by card 10 times, with roughly 4% taken in processing fees each time.

After those 10 transactions, about $6.70 of that original $20 has gone to processing fees, leaving only about $13.30 circulating between the businesses receiving those payments.

Now multiply that by hundreds or thousands of transactions.

Those fees add up quickly, and eventually businesses have to find ways to absorb those costs — often through higher prices.

That’s why using cash when you can really does make a difference.

Cards are still welcome, of course. But anytime you’re able and willing to use cash, it helps small businesses keep more of every dollar and helps preserve the prices customers are used to.
