Can we talk about these gorgeous window boxes for a minute?

A little local-business spotlight for Amanda at Roaming Roots Garden Co., the talented hands behind the lush, overflowing window boxes you’ve been seeing outside King Eider’s Pub.

You may recognize Amanda from behind our bar here at King Eider’s, but when she’s not pouring drinks, her real passion is creating beautiful spaces with plants. And judging by what she’s done outside the Pub, we’d say she has quite the gift for it.

She’s kept our window boxes looking full and beautiful all summer, and now we’re starting to spot a few mums peeking out among the blooms. Do we dare say it? Is fall quietly trying to sneak its way into Damariscotta? We’re not ready to give up summer just yet, but we have to admit, those little hints of autumn look pretty darn good.

If your own gardens or window boxes could use Amanda’s touch, she is currently available for window boxes, garden design, and garden maintenance. And when 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 season rolls around, she stays hard at work creating and selling the most beautiful Christmas wreaths.
