Some people that read my reviews may have wondered why I only have scores of 6, 6.5, or 7 out of 7. Well, we review mom and pop style eateries which means small businesses. I love supporting small businesses. If I choose to give a bad review I could possibly reflect bad on their business without knowing if it’s just an off day, short staffed, or any other type of circumstance. That’s the reason that I only do positive reviews. Now get out there and make some memories!

I’m pretty sure that I may have reviewed these folks in the past but it was for lunch so let’s discuss some breakfast!! Yup, these folks know what they are doing! Wheeewwww that gravy was chocked full of sausage on top of those cat heads yes sir! And don’t get me started on that cinnamon roll… I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure that the Keebler elf’s, Aunt Jemima, and the Pillsbury Doughboy were off to the side taking notes, mercy! Whether it’s lunch or breakfast they get a 6.5 out of 7 on the Jeep’n n Eat’n 7 slot scale. Now get out there and make some memories!

For work a partner and myself ended up in Evarts, Ky. I know, never heard of it right? Me neither lol! It’s in the middle of nowhere and there wasn’t much to choose from to eat. Oddly enough this little convenience store had grill on the inside so we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. They had a great little bacon cheeseburger and classic fries. They scored a 6.5 out of 7 on our Jeep’n n Eat’n 7 slot scale. Now get out there and make some memories!

More home town Eat’n in Dalton, Ga.! As y’all know we are always down for some bbq, and Big Squatchs Smokehouse can hit the spot. When it come to brisket they know what they are doing. Sides were great as well. But the pièce de résistance is the smoked peach cobbler! I’m pretty sure the angles descend to help in the preparation! Have mercy!! One of my favorite foods is good ole gravy and biscuits and it’s getting hard to find places that know how to make it. Well, Beaver Creek Biscuits and Barbeque know how to do it! Those of y’all that know us know that we love us some sweets! Which is why when we heard about Tres Bros we had to give it a try. Located local to us in Dalton, Ga. They have a super friendly staff that’s great with suggestions. They sure know how to make a bougie milkshake and their agua frescas agua awesome! If your travels take you to Laurel, Ms. Pearl’s Diner is a must. True southern cooking set in a location that makes you feel like you have stepped back in time a few decades. The food was outstanding and the service was very friendly. The food reminds you of what quality home cooking really is and the chicken tenders were amongst the best that I have had.
