500 ANIMALS IN HOUSE!
DESPERATE HELP NEEDED.
⚠️HES has officially surpassed 500 animals in care. PLEASE READ 👇
The shelter is bursting at the seams, our foster families have their hands full, and there's still so many fur babies out there that need us. If you want to help, but don't know how, here's a few ways to make the most meaningful impact for our shelter animals RIGHT NOW. There's a way for EVERYONE to help:
⏩SHARE
Share this post, along with any others on our social media platforms to help spread the word about our animals and our organization. This is something EVERYONE can do - it costs no money, no commitments, just a click of a button. Exposure means everything for our animals waiting for a forever family to find them.
❤ADOPT!
We have SO many animals looking for forever homes. View available animals at heschatt.org/adopt
💙FOSTER
Open your heart and home to an animal in need of placement. HES will provide you EVERYTHING you need, from supplies, to mentorship and information, and a great community of 24/7 support. Sign up to foster at heschatt.org/foster and we'll match you with an animal that fits YOUR lifestyle and needs.
💲DONATE
Donations help us continue to provide the best a shelter can offer, from basic care to individual medical needs to food and enrichment and everything in between. Each animal costs the shelter an average of $400+ and as a nonprofit, we rely heavily on donations to continue to operate. You can donate at heschatt.org/donation. Every cent helps the animals!
🩺SPAY, NEUTER, MICROCHIP
Getting your pets fixed will drastically help curb the overpopulation of animals we are currently experiencing. The tidal waves of kittens and puppies that are a result of "unwanted" and "unexpected" litters are a big reason our intake numbers are so high.

The other biggest reason is for lost/stray animals. Getting your pets microchipped and keeping your contact info up-to-date can help reunite pets to their owners if they end up lost. OVER HALF the animals currently in care were found as strays.

We ❤ our animals, and the communities we serve. We can work together toward a better future for our furry friends who mean so much to us all!
