Friends, our little coffee shop will close its doors at Victory Park at the end of this month. Our landlord has decided not to renew our lease. We are thankful for 6 amazing years in this neighborhood we love.

This has been a wonderful ride for us. You have supported us in every way possible: your daily visits, glowing reviews, constant loyalty and love. We have sincerely felt every encouraging gesture you have had toward us. We have been through A LOT in these past 6 years and we made it because of YOU.

These past few months have been especially good for us, with record sales and your continued appreciation for our small business. You know, when you buy your coffee at a small shop like ours, you are not only supporting our immediate team, but also a long list of small businesses that make our work possible. From our yummy baked goods to our flowers to our hand sanitizer, everything you see around comes from a small business like ours. We are grateful for all these partnerships.

My focus in the past few weeks has been to help my baristas find great jobs, and I am happy that this goal has been achieved. I am also extremely grateful that they agreed to stay until our last day, often working two jobs and long hours, to ensure we have the coverage to finish our tenure with the same level of product and service that you are all used to. I am certainly going to miss them the most, but everything I have learned from them (and our former team members) will luckily stay will me forever.

As for our brand, we are figuring out what is next. I will continue to post about coffee shops I love locally and globally, and I am mentoring a thriving coffee grower in Rwanda with an incredible product and story to tell. I will share all more about this on our social media in the near future. Please continue to follow us for all things coffee.

This has been a dream of mine forever and I am grateful for every visit, every friendship and every memory. Getting to know you has been my honor, and I hope I see you around to say proper goodbye. We will certainly miss you.

We continue to offer our special parking space thanks to the City of Dallas. This program will now be extended until April and allows our customers to park, pick up their order and go, or to call us from their car for curbside pick-up 😊.

Dallas City Council has given the green light for the "Street Seats" pilot program and approved the parklet option for additional outdoor seating for businesses.
