NEW ENGLAND OYSTER CHOWDER
How about a nice cup of this tasty chowder, brimming with succulent oysters. The smell of this chowder always brings me back to memories of Maine Vacations. These sweet oysters bring an element of mystique but shine in this creamy chowder. I started onions, celery, red potatoes, corn, spices, herbs and simmered them in a rich clam broth. I then thickened it with a roux and finished with heavy cream and lots of poached oyster. This chowder stimulates the senses and ignites the appetite. It is elegant and satisfying on its own. Don’t miss this one.
