A creamy version of Red Manhattan Clam Chowder. It begins with ocean chopped clams, potatoes, tomatoes a mirepoix of vegetables, and seasonings simmered in a clam broth infused with Samuel Adams Lager. It is a unique marriage of the ocean saltiness and the rich bold and rebel taste of the lager. It really doesn’t get much better!

BEEF STROGANOFF SOUP
From Russia with Love! Beef stroganoff has its origins from the mid-19th century Russia. It is a popular dish found around the world and there are considerable variations. Today I took this classic dish and created another variation in the form of soup. Tender beef, onions, and mushrooms simmered in a rich beef stock. It is then thickened with a roux and finished with heavy cream, sour cream, dill pickle juice, and egg noodles.

MUSHROOM AND LENTIL SOUP
Fresh mushrooms provide a deep umami flavor in this brothy soup. The lentils serve as a great source of plant-based protein and helps bulk up the soup. I started with a rich vegetable broth and simmered lentils, mushrooms, other vegetables, herbs and seasonings. I promise you will fee full and satisfied after eating a bowl.

BEER CHEESE SOUP
This soup takes me to Green Bay Wisconsin. Even though my Packers feel apart in the 4th. quarter on Sunday. I'm a true Green Bay Packers fan and I had to make this soup.I took a rich poultry stock, combined it with beer, onion, celery, potatoes, caraway seeds, seasonings, bacon and let it simmer. It was finished with a roux to thicken it and creamy cheddar cheese. So, all you cheese heads and non-cheese heads stop in and grab a bowl today. It’s a touchdown!

THIS WEEKEND'S FEATURED SOUP:
IRISH ALE, LEEK AND POTATO
This soup features diced red potatoes, sweet leeks, crisp celery, and carrots all simmered in a ham stock enhanced with Irish ale beer. It is seasoned with garlic, pieces of smoked ham, herbs and seasonings. I thicken it with a roux and finish it with heavy cream and green onion. This one is pure comfort!
