Thanks for the love Deep Ellum!!
A Dallas classic with deep roots
Café Brazil has been a beloved part of the community since the first location opened in Lakewood in 1991. Today the café has several locations across North Texas — including one in Deep Ellum — serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and their famous bottomless coffee to generations of regulars.
A recent story from Lakewood/East Dallas Advocate highlights how the longtime hangout has come full circle as a family-owned business. After decades working their way through the restaurant in nearly every role, Kevin and Lindsay Pultze purchased the chain last year, continuing the legacy while staying true to what has made Café Brazil special for more than 30 years.
Known for its eclectic vibe and late-night hours, the café has long been a place where college students, night owls, families, and neighbors all find a seat at the table. The new owners say their goal is simple: keep the spirit of Café Brazil alive while making thoughtful improvements — without changing the concept that people have loved for decades.
