In 2023, Hansen's Sno-Bliz had some EPIC sweet treat-inspired Mardi Gras costumes!

In NOLA, they're sno balls and in Dallas it's shaved ice. Whatever you call it, we want to wish you a Beary Cool Mardi Gras!

The Beary Cool Mobile is not *quite* hibernating during the cool weather. Today its two unwrapped sides got a new look - and now we've got a complete look! Thanks - especially Tatiana and Billy - we are so pleased with how the trailer turned out and w can't wait to show it to you when the sunny, summery weather returns in 2024.

If you've ever wondered about my life when shaved ice season is just a summer memory, well here's are a few pics! My husband and I run a tour company called featuring our beloved yellow bus that we deck out in lights and roll through the Park Cities on Christmas light tours.

Goodbyes are tough, but this is only a goodbye until summer 2024.

It's my first season in this business and since it began, the most incredible people have come to the Beary Cool trailer window for shaved ice. I knew this job would be fun, but I didn't realize how much joy it could bring!

To my new friends who have shared their smiles and let me help make this crazy hot summer cooler, thank you. I will truly miss seeing your smiles and hearing about the things you love - your collection of science shirts, mermaids, pickle juice, the perfect shade of lipstick, finding feathers to name just a few.

A big thank you to so many folks, but a gigantic thanks to the good folks at for offering a space that was an ideal neighborhood spot. It really changed the game for Beary Cool.

The great news is that when the shaved ice trailers close for the summer, it means cooler weather is on the way! We're all ready for sweater weather!
