Muffy's Creative Scoops

09/30/2026

Oh my God, y’all! 😂 I did NOT expect this many responses! ❤️❤️💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

The amount of teachers, schools, parents, and people interested in the Muffy’s Reading Reward Program has honestly surprised me. I LOVE that so many of y’all want to encourage these babies to get off these electronics and back into some books! 📚🍧

BUT…y’all also don’t want Muffy’s to go bankrupt our first year in business. 😂😂 So give me a minute to figure out the logistics on the back end.

Because Muffy’s Creative Scoops is brand new and located in Greenville, I think we’re going to have to start with Greenville schools first. I would absolutely love to eventually expand throughout Hunt County, but Hunt County is BIG, and judging by these responses, we need to make sure we can actually handle what we’re creating before we expand it.

I’m going to be out of town this weekend, so give me a few days to sit down and figure out exactly how this will work. We may need an enrollment period, a limit on the number of participating classrooms/schools, or possibly rotate schools so everybody eventually gets an opportunity to participate.

I also need to figure out the reading requirements, how teachers will enroll their classrooms, how many certificates each classroom can receive, redemption rules, and all that good stuff.

The goal is still the same: GET THESE BABIES READING! 📚

I just need to make sure we create something that Muffy’s can afford to continue instead of doing something huge for two months and then saying it’s time to shut it down because we have given away all the Italian ice. 😂😂🍧

So educators, homeschool teachers, librarians, principals, hold tight! I hear y’all, I see the messages, and I’m working on it. ❤️

Greenville, y’all will be up first! 📚🍧

Okay, educators! Are y’all still encouraging these babies to READ anymore?📚😂 Because I’m trying to figure out how we can get some of these kids off these electronics and back into these books!

Now that Muffy’s Creative Scoops is finally open, I want to do something that gives back to our kids and encourages reading at the same time.

So I’m looking to partner with local teachers and schools for the Muffy’s Reading Reward Program! 🍧📚

I got the idea from programs like Pizza Hut’s BOOK IT! program. The teacher sets the reading goal for their students. Once the student reaches that goal, the teacher gives them a Muffy’s Reading Reward Certificate, and they can bring it to Muffy’s Creative Scoops for a FREE 9 oz Italian Ice!

That’s it. No purchase necessary. You handle the reading. Muffy’s will handle the reward. 🍧

I’m looking to run the school program October through March, and then we’ll have a separate summer reading challenge for June through August.

So Greenville/Hunt County teachers, principals, librarians, homeschool educators, etc., I need y’all! If this is something you’d like your students to participate in, comment below or message me so we can collaborate.

Let’s get these babies back in these books! 📚🍧❤️

🍧 ALL RIGHT, Y’ALL… RAIN OR SHINE, WE’RE OPEN TOMORROW! 🍧

Now let me be clear… THIS IS NOT THE GRAND OPENING! 😂 Honey, there is soooo much more I want to put inside this store, but these finances said, “Girl, you better make it do what it do!” 🤣💸

So that’s exactly what we’re doing!

This is the GET OPEN opening. 😂 We’ll probably have us a RE-RE-OPENING next year after I make a little money and finish adding all the extras I want. LOL!

But for now, instead of having to order from the bus, YOU GET TO COME INSIDE! 🙌🏾🍧

Come sit down, enjoy your Italian ice, get out of this Texas heat, and enjoy some AIR CONDITIONING! 🥶😂

🗓️ TOMORROW

We may open a little earlier. If we do, I’ll make an announcement!

The bus will still be there, but the doors will be OPEN! 🥳

It may not be everything I envision yet, but baby… WE’RE GETTING STARTED! 💪🏾

Management sent people out this morning to spray wasp and remove nest! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

09/20/2026

Y’all, it seems like we just can’t catch a break! 😩😂

We planned to open Saturday, but with my husband being out of town, we had to postpone. Then we planned for TODAY… and discovered the wasp infestation was worse than we thought 🐝🤦🏾‍♀️

Although the nests have been removed, they’re still swarming, and I’m NOT about to have somebody get stung on our first day! 😂 Management will be treating the area tomorrow.

So come rain, sleet, snow—or apparently WASPS 😂—MUFFY’S WILL BE OPEN SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH AT 2 PM! 🎉🍧

No ifs, ands, or buts! Thank y’all for being patient with us. We WILL open this month! 😂💚

Now for the exciting news… WE’RE PLANNING TO OPEN THE STORE THIS SATURDAY! 🎉 Time will be determined soon

Everything may not be perfectly in place yet, but guess what? We’re opening anyway! 😂🙌🏾 No more being served from the bus—you’ll finally be able to come inside, sit down, cool off in the A/C, and enjoy your favorite Muffy’s Italian Ice! We will still use our bus for private events and bookings!

We’re excited to welcome you inside and continue growing with this amazing community.

Again, THANK YOU for showing up, supporting us, and becoming part of the Muffy’s family! 🍧❤️
