We had an absolute blast at PeachFest Atlanta by Taste Network competing in the cocktail competition, serving our signature Zomerzon cocktail and authentic Liége wafels to all of you.

Underground Atlanta was buzzing with incredible energy, amazing people, delicious food, and outstanding drinks all celebrating Atlanta's favorite summer fruit, the incredible Pearson Farm peaches. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, grabbed a waffle, tried our cocktail, and cheered us on. 🍑

Crafted with Código 1530 Reposado Tequila and featuring the true star of the season—fresh Pearson Farm peaches—this cocktail is inspired by the warmth of a Georgia summer sunset.

Recipe
• 1½ oz Código 1530 Reposado Tequila
• ¾ oz Grilled Pearson Farm peach purée
• ½ oz Blended Family Peach Liqueur
• ½ oz Aperol
• ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• 2 drops saline solution

Delicious Belgian is honored to be competing in the Peach Pit Invitational Cocktail Competition, featuring Código 1530 Reposado Tequila and fresh Pearson Farm peaches.

🍑 ZOMERZON ☀️
"Zomerzon" means "Summer Sun" in Dutch.
Inspired by the warm glow of a summer sunset, Zomerzon celebrates the two places our family calls home, Belgium and Georgia. It brings together traditional Belgian cafe culture with the unmistakable summer flavor of Pearson Farm peaches and the rich character of Código 1530 Reposado Tequila.

Recipe
• 1½ oz Código 1530 Reposado Tequila
• ¾ oz grilled Pearson Farm peach purée
• ½ oz Blended Family Peach Liqueur
• ½ oz Aperol
• ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• 2 drops saline solution
Shake vigorously with ice and double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora or coupe glass.
Garnish: fresh peach fan and a small square of Liège waffle.

Pearson Farm peaches are the soul of this cocktail. Grilling intensifies their natural sweetness while adding delicate caramelized notes that pair beautifully with the cooked agave character of Código 1530 Reposado. Blended Family Peach Liqueur extends the fresh peach aromatics, Aperol contributes bright citrus and gentle bitterness, and fresh lemon, orange bitters, and a touch of saline create balance while allowing the tequila to remain the star.

The Liège waffle garnish pays tribute to our Belgian heritage. Its caramelized pearl sugar and warm vanilla notes echo the browned sugars of the grilled peaches, creating a delicious bridge between Belgian café culture and Georgia's summer harvest.
