So… I built a website. 😬

Well, rebuilt it. Changed things. Changed them back. Added more things because apparently I don’t know when to stop.

But Swizzle & Whisk is officially up and running online. 🥃🌿

It’s still a work in progress because….me…..but the syrups, salts, garnishes, events, mobile bartending and assorted curated chaos finally have a home.

Just discovered I have FOUR DAYS OFF IN A ROW.

Would’ve been useful information before it was too late to plan a mini vacation, but whatever.

So dinner has escalated, there’s homemade bread happening, and I’m currently drinking an espresso martini with Pecan Chaos while avoiding starting any of it.

Basically thriving. 😂

I have a brand new Hedley & Bennett Texas apron Scott bought me that desperately needs to make its debut.

I also have bills. They’re multiplyin’. 🎶
And unfortunately, no one has expressed interest in simply giving me money.

So… I’m baking. 😂

This weekend we’re turning butter, flour and questionable financial motivation into rolls.

SWEET

🍍 Pineapple Upside-Down Rolls — $24/4
Buttery brown sugar, pineapple, soft cinnamon-roll dough, baked upside down and flipped into sticky caramelized glory.

🍑 Peach Upside-Down Rolls — $24/4
Peaches, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and warm spice. Summer’s not dead yet.

🍌 Bananas Foster Rolls — $26/4
Bananas, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla and rum, finished with a rum-vanilla glaze. Because apparently I can’t leave well enough alone.

SAVORY

🌶️ Hatch Chile Cheddar Bacon Rolls — $28/4
Roasted Hatch chiles, sharp cheddar and bacon with crispy cheesy edges. This feels aggressively Texan and I’m okay with it.

🧄 Garlic Parmesan Herb Rolls — $24/4
Garlic butter, Parmesan, herbs and plenty of cheese. Garlic bread got a glow-up and learned how to spiral.

Instead I made one trip to HEB for BC powder and zero sugar ice cream because apparently that’s the emergency preparedness kit for this week.

Twenty-four hours later: Pineapple Upside Down Sticky Buns exist.

Brown butter, frozen pineapple, cocktail cherries, Malibu, Luxardo, and a lot of crossing my fingers during the flip.

They were made for someone whose favorite dessert is pineapple upside down cake.

The reaction?

Let’s just say tomorrow’s breakfast got claimed before the box even left the bar.
