John is serving a Charity Schnitzel Dinner on Thursday, 7/30/2026, starting 4:30 p.m, at the American Legion in Dahlonega GA.

For $15 you can get the Schnitzel with sides, salad & dessert bars; the proceeds go to the Legion and the local animals.

We appreciate your support and looking forward to seeing you there!

Guten Morgen,

SAVE THE DATE!

All of you that want to have one last Reens' Bratzeit & Biergarten Schnitzel... we will be at a location in Dahlonega, serving a Charity Schnitzel Dinner on Thursday, 30 July 2026.

Proceeds will go to great causes, close to both of our hearts.

I will post details later this weekend.

In the meantime, put us on your calendar for 7/30/2026, about 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. or whenever the dinners sell out. At that location, specials are known to go quick!

Thank you everyone that visited us this week, when maybe you even changed your plans to make that happen!

Your kind words make this Good-Bye tougher. At the end of a journey, sometimes you forget the reason you started on that path, and the nice memories made along the way.

Hello Friends and Fans - regardless if American or German or anything else or in between. The time has come...

It has been an adventure, and at times a wild ride. Thank you for your patronage since November 2021.

With mixed emotions, some tears and a pep in our step, we are sharing these news with you:

Our LAST DAY OF BUSINESS is Sunday, 5 July 2026.

Until our farewell, we will be open EVERY day, from 11:30am until 8:00pm, and until 7:00pm on Sundays.

The space will continue to operate as a restaurant but will get facelift first - I know John & I could use that ourselves! Don't be a Kraut, and check that new place out - see what I did there? LOL

With that laugh, and to keep from choking up, we hail with an "Auf Wiedersehen!" to all y'all!

Good morning, as Dr. Stephenson would say: "Why go to California? In yonder hill lies more riches than anyone ever dreamed of."

I know he was not referring to the riches in an awesome sunset from our patio, but he had a point - didn't he?

If you grab a bite (i.e. schnitzel or brat) and a drink (suggesting a b**r or soda for the youngsters), let us know how YOU know MFS. You will get a reward if you hit the GGGOOOAAAALLLL!

Oh, and if you still have an unredeemed Gift Card balance, find the card, and bring it with you by 7/5/2026!

Hello and Guten Abend!

We have some news to share with our neighbors in Dahlonega and visitors from near and far.

You will want to see us between Saturday, 26 June 2026 and Sunday, 5 July 2026. We have Special Hours and are open EVERY day from 11:30am through 8:00pm (on 7/5/2026 only until 7:00pm).

The 2026 FIFA World Cup (soccer) is certainly one reason, but NOT the only one!

FRIDAY UPDATE: All is well and we are open. Come help us celebrate Oktober with b**r, brat, and pretzel.

Due to the inclement weather in NE Georgia, we closed at 5 PM. Unless we have service interruption, we plan to reopen Friday.
