For my wedding vendor friends:
October can't last forever. 😆

October is tough! This weekend has been the busiest of my whole business year!
5 wedding cakes
1 anniversary cake
18 dozen cupcakes

I feel like I've gone through enough butter, sugar, flour and buttermilk to supply a small army!! 😆
Shout out toCristie Myers for keeping me in buttercream, and thanks toKaren Rice Smith and Cristie for cleaning up my kitchen! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wedding #2

What a glorious day for a wedding at White Oaks Vineyard!! I was there for set-up a bit early, but everything was coming together beautifully when I left!
Honestly, I'm a bit taken with this cake! I'm thrilled with how it turned out!! The couple went all out by adding 10 dozen cupcakes in Golden Butter, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, Strawberry, and Blackberry Cobbler! 😍😍😍😍😍
What a spread!!

The bride gave me free rein on her cake design. She wanted something classic and beautiful. How'd I do??

Not all wedding cakes are white. This cake was made for a bride who loves all things purple! It's definitely colorful. My rose making "skill" is still a work in progress, but I've come a long way!!
Notice how natural indoor light vs. artifical light vs. indirect window lighting all change the vibe of the cake!
Anyway---here's to color!!

My very first wedding at The Abbott Mansion!! I can't believe how dreamy this place is---such a lovely setting for a wedding!
Congratulations to Maddie & Andrew!!
