Update: Please pay attention to your kitties, especially if they roam outside! Sly was only 4 years old and was taken out by a tick bite (even on flea & tick medication the tick only needs to bite them). She had Bobcat fever, we noticed she was lethargic and high fever Thursday morning (her ears and paws were hot, we took her to the vet within a couple hours (her temp was 104.9). They told us that she was in good health and wasn’t as bad as some cases that they had seen, we were so hopeful, we started her on a medication and antibiotics she was immediately & given fluids. She was drinking a little water on her own and was responding when we would pet her, even meowing, noticeably lower fever Saturday, but still very weak & lethargic, she passed early Sunday morning.

Rest easy sweet girl 🩷 I’m sure you’re already stealing someone else’s chair, I wish is was still mine💞
