Our coffee beans come from Nicaragua and are grown high in the mountains, between four and five thousand feet above sea level. Here the cool humid climate is ideal for producing the finest coffee beans in the world. They are grown organically on farms that have been in the family for generations. Their expert
ise and knowledge has been handed down father to son for over a century. The farmers focus on ecological friendly cultivation techniques that produce the finest coffee. We have searched the world over to find the highest quality coffee beans and we found them growing in the mountains of Maltagalpa Nicaragua. Once the beans are harvested and dried/cured in Nicaragua, they are shipped to California in the United States. This critical procedure releases the natural flavors of the coffee bean. We roast our beans by hand in the traditional manner to insure the best tasting coffee. Our unique process is the result of many years of research into the coffee bean and its vast array of flavors. Roasting must be done correctly to end up with a quality product. If it is done at too high a heat or for too long, the beans will burn and the taste is destroyed. If the heat is too low or the beans are not cooked long enough, the coffee will be bitter and unsavory. We use environmentally friendly equipment to produce the coffee. We do everything in small batches to insure you the freshest coffee possible. All the beans are roasted immediately before bagging.
