Forgiveness can be one of the hardest things God asks us to do.

Especially when the hurt was real.

Colossians 3:13 reminds us that we’re called to show others the same grace that Christ has shown us.

That doesn’t mean pretending something never happened or saying the pain didn’t matter.

It means choosing not to let bitterness have the final word.

We’ve all needed forgiveness.
We’ve all fallen short.
And we’ve all been shown more grace by God than we could ever earn.

So when it’s difficult to forgive, may we remember how patiently He has dealt with us.

Ask God to soften your heart, give you wisdom, and help you release what you were never meant to carry forever.

“Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Growth with God doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like becoming a little more patient.
A little more humble.
A little quicker to forgive.
A little more willing to listen.
A little more dependent on Him than you were yesterday.

2 Peter 3:18 reminds us that following Christ is a lifelong process.

We’re called to keep growing in His grace, keep learning His character, and keep becoming more like Him in the way we live, serve, and treat the people around us.

There’s always more to learn.

More pride to surrender.
More wisdom to gain.
More grace to give.

May we never become so comfortable in our faith that we stop growing.

And through every season, may the glory always go back to Him.
