Well, we got off easy with yesterday’s fierce storms. Several large tree limbs and a few trees down, but no structure damage that I can tell. Could have been much worse. I saw dozens of trees down while driving through the county. Not uprooted, trunks snapped off about four to five feet up. That was a mighty wind to hit that hard and fast. I also saw a couple roofless barns.
I’m worried about my Hummingbirds that nest in the mimosa beside the house. I hope their nests and wee ones survived.
