What a wild time of year! Lots of you have been asking and messaging us about when the parlor will open, and I've got the scoop straight from the new owners - they're working their tails off amidst the renovation chaos to create a great experience with top-notch service and selection. Translation: they won't be open for the holiday weekend, but when they do open, it'll be great!
On a personal note, many of you have asked what Bob and I have been up to since our big move last August. Let's just say we've been busy being grandparents extraordinaire! Our firstborn grandchild, Beau, brought us immense joy in October, and we're still riding high after finding out our son is getting married this year - yep, we'll get to spoil adorable granddaughter Allie too - she's four and has already stolen our hearts. Bob's company is booming, and I've taken on the challenge of taming the chaos at a local restaurant/bar as a manager. We miss our friends from the UP, but moving to Michigan's thumb to be close to family was the right move!
