Yesterday, I asked 9 middle schoolers "how was your day?"
All replied with enthusiasm.
7 asked me about my day .......👀
Well done Mom and Dad, well done.

Walked into the store last night and a group of young ladies were curling each others hair and getting ready for a party. So now we are The Chill Hill: Ice cream, frozen yogurt, and hair salon.

I considered it a great compliment and was happy to have them.

So exciting. The 6th graders are walking over after middle school. The joy and excitement of a new found freedom, many have been dreaming about this for years. In a few years they will be 8th graders and totally bored with this adventure. But for now, we soak up their happiness.

I miss last year's 8th grade class. There are some really kind and respectful students in that class. I would see them routinely for 3 years. Now, they are in high school and it is an unwritten rule that once you go to high school you forget the chill hill. Very sad. It's nature's way.

The 4:20 pm middle school rush is my favorite time in the store.
All the energy they bring. It's great. Our 16th year of welcoming a new class.
