🥯 Meet the Owners – Elise & Raegan 🥯
Hi everyone! We're so excited to introduce ourselves as the owners of The Bagel Hole-Coal Mountain!
I'm Elise, a South Jersey native who grew up taking bagels very seriously. If you're from New Jersey, you already know there's one debate that can divide an entire state: Pork Roll or Taylor Ham? (For the record, South Jersey knows it's Pork Roll! 😉)
My husband, Raegan, grew up working in restaurants before spending years touring the world with some incredible artists in the music industry. After starting our family, he transitioned into the film industry, where he worked as a union member until the recent slowdown brought him back to his hospitality roots.
When we discovered The Bagel Hole, we knew we had found something special. As a Jersey girl, I can tell you these bagels passed the test. But what really stood out to us wasn't just the food—it was the atmosphere. Gary and Cathy (the heart and soul behind The Bagel Hole) have built an incredible family-oriented environment at their original location where customers are treated like friends and everyone feels welcome.
That's the same spirit we hope to bring to our community.
And while Gary, a proud North Jersey native, and I may never settle the Pork Roll vs. Taylor Ham debate, we can agree on one thing: great bagels bring people together.
We're working hard behind the scenes and hope to open our doors this July. We can't wait to become part of the community, build relationships with our guests, and share some amazing bagels, schmears and sandwiches with all of you.
