Nezzy’s friends… WE HAVE THE MOST INCREDIBLE NEWS! ❤️🎉

Thanks to all of YOU, the City of Cumberland, and Senator Quinn, our sidewalk is STAYING! We can continue operating our business as usual, and we couldn’t be more relieved or grateful.

This is a victory for our entire community. You showed what can happen when a town comes together, speaks up, and fights for what’s right. This is a HUGE win for Nezzy’s and for Cumberland!

Every text, email, voicemail, Facebook message, shared post, and call to our elected officials helped make this happen. You stood beside us when we needed you, and we will never forget that. ❤️

There are still details to work out about who will ultimately own and maintain the sidewalk, but we know the most important part: it will stay!

Tonight, we’re celebrating at Nezzy’s! Stop in, have a drink, and raise a glass with us. We would love to celebrate this moment with the people who made it possible. 🍻

Thank you for always being by our side.

With love and gratitude,
Rach & Jess ❤️

A big thank-you to the City of Cumberland, WI and Randy Reeg for working with us to find a space for our dumpster! We truly appreciate the help and willingness to find a solution. ❤️

And thank you to R Local Sanitation for getting the dumpster moved so quickly!

Having to relocate it is another ripple effect of the DNR situation, as we’re no longer allowed to keep it behind their building.

We’re just thankful we won’t have to haul garbage home every night - yuck! Owning a small business sure keeps life interesting…
