Today, our Downtown Culpeper community faced a heartbreaking tragedy as a devastating fire impacted several cherished local businesses, including Zandra's Taqueria and Culpeper Machine & Supply Co.
On behalf of the entire Pinto Thai and Dtom Dtun Noodle family, we extend our deepest thoughts, prayers, and support to the business owners, employees, customers, and families affected by this loss. These businesses are more than storefronts—they are part of the heart and soul of our downtown community.
While we are saddened by the damage and hardship caused, we are incredibly grateful that no injuries have been reported. We sincerely thank the Culpeper Fire Department, emergency responders, law enforcement officers, and all supporting agencies whose courage, professionalism, and tireless efforts helped protect lives and prevent even greater loss.
Downtown Culpeper has always been built on resilience, compassion, and the strength of neighbors supporting neighbors. During the days and weeks ahead, we encourage everyone to continue showing kindness, encouragement, and support to those affected as they begin the difficult journey of recovery and rebuilding.
Pinto Thai and Dtom Dtun Noodle stand united with our fellow downtown businesses and remain committed to supporting our community in any way we can. Together, we will overcome this challenge and emerge stronger than ever.
