Sometimes catering looks a little different. 🖤
Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to prepare and deliver 10 family dinners for a local family after the meals were gifted to them by an organization.
Each week I prepared something different from Chicken Marsala and Apricot Pork Tenderloin to Beef Tenderloin, Lemon Herb Salmon, Creamy Basil Pesto Chicken and more. Every dinner was prepared with their family’s dietary needs in mind and delivered ready for them to enjoy together.
Yesterday was their final dinner, and when I reached out to confirm delivery, I received a message saying Mondays had become “our favorite day of the week.” 🥹
I didn’t realize until then how much these weekly meals had come to mean to them.
This is one of those experiences that reminds me that Darin’s Event Catering is about more than weddings, parties and events. Sometimes it’s simply about being able to use what I do to make someone’s week a little easier and a little more delicious.
It was truly a pleasure cooking for this family. 🖤
