Goat Island Craft Brewery Announces Majority Ownership Transition

Cullman, Alabama – Goat Island Craft Brewery, LLC today announced the completion of the sale of a majority ownership interest by the company's original founders to longtime minority shareholder Russell D. Warren, Sr., who has been an investor in the brewery since its founding.

Effective immediately, Warren will serve as President of Goat Island Craft Brewery, LLC and will lead the company into its next chapter of growth while building upon the strong foundation established over the past decade.

"We are grateful to the original founders for their vision, hard work, and dedication in creating Goat Island Craft Brewery into one of Alabama's premier craft breweries," said Warren. "Having been an investor since the brewery's earliest days, I've had the opportunity to watch its growth firsthand and have always believed in the brand, the people, and the community that have made Goat Island successful."

"Our commitment is to preserve what makes Goat Island special while investing in its future. We look forward to supporting our employees, strengthening relationships with our vendors, distributors, retailers, and customers, enhancing the experience at both of our taprooms, and continuing to brew exceptional craft beverages that our customers have come to expect."

Operations will continue uninterrupted, and the company remains committed to serving its customers, distributors, and retail partners throughout the ownership transition.

One of the company's immediate priorities will be continued investment in the customer experience at both the Goat Island Brewery Taproom and the Cotton Creek Taproom, while expanding community events, introducing new products, and strengthening Goat Island's position as a destination brewery in North Alabama.

The company also intends to pursue expansion of its distribution footprint into Mississippi and other strategic markets while maintaining its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service.

"We are making this investment for the long term and are excited about the opportunities ahead.
