Seasons are a changin and so are the hours at Cuchara's Higher Ground Coffee! Please make a note, starting this week our hours will be: Monday: 8 - noon
Tuesday: 8 - noon
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 8 - noon
Saturday: 8- noon
Sunday: We are in church, 100 yards from the coffee bar, @ Cuchara Christian Fellowship. We serve the same Black Rifle Coffee so come on by and get your caffeine fix here @ 10 AM!

On July 3rd from 8am-11am ,Cuchara's Higher Ground Coffee Bar will be hosting a "Jeeps and Java" Breakfast. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs and of course a cup of Black Rifle Coffee all for just $5.95. Bring your Jeep (if you don't have one come anyway...no one will know) and enjoy a good time, in a great place, with awesome people. Directly following Jeeps and Java, head on up to the Cuchara Mercantile (base buildings at ski area) for Lunch. Drinks and fun from 11am-3pm. Hope to see you there.

Higher Ground Coffee in Cuchara will open for the season on Monday, May 24th! Hours are as follows: Monday-Saturday 8 am to 3 pm. Same great Black Rifle Coffee, New menu items for breakfast and lunch and the 3 amigos (Mike & Mike & Tony) always your #1 choice in barista's! Come check out the only coffee in Huerfano County with an altitude! Get to Higher Ground!

Cuchara’s Higher Ground is now closed for the season. We will re-open in May. Thank you for your patronage. We look forward to a full non covid season in 2021. Have a safe and prosperous winter, see you in the spring

Hi everyone, as of Sept. 28 CHG will be open Tuesday-Saturday 8-2. We are hoping to stay open this season as long as possible however as the fall colors wind down so does business. Check back here for updates on hours of operation. Thank you to all of you for making this past season so successful.

To all of our Customers,
Some of you have seen the sign in the coffee bar but for those that haven't,
We are having to close the coffee bar, for the day:
☕️*Today for a Memorial of a dear friend
☕️*and also next Saturday for the wedding of the Christian family's youngest son.
We have been trying to get coverage so this closure was not necessary but were unable to do so. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that all of our wonderful customers understand!
