Family Owned and Operated Small Business that specializes in items baked with gluten free ingredients, fresh produce, and of course, locally sourced meat from our collaboration with Hobart Meats. We not only offer baked items, but also fresh made salads, sandwiches, soups and a full coffee/beverage bar! We proudly serve delicious coffee from Wrangler Coffee Company for those with gluten issues to enjoy food, sweets and a plethora of delicious beverages. Shout out to our customers!!!! You have almost cleaned us out today!!! All cupcakes have been sold. We do have muffins, pumpkin bread, banana bread, a few cookies and brownies -that is all. Thinking it could be the weather….. or the fact you wanted to test me, since I was cooking and running front by myself. Anyhow, thank you, thank you, and thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Friday everyone!!! We are definitely looking forward to getting this weekend started.

Due to being short staffed things may look a little different do lunch time today. I will be prepping some cold things for more of a “grab and go” to make things quicker and easier. We decided that this “pivot” will allow us to continue to serve you efficiently. This should be our last short staffed day for a while (whew!!).

So thankful for each of you!!

When you have been awake since 4, your breakfast looks like last night’s leftovers while you wait for the second load of laundry to dry. Getting this and next months dinners planned for the shop- as well as the other business stuff. Getting ready to head to Chicago for a bit today as well.

It is 12 noon. We are open and we have meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. We also have a discounted display case, full coffee bar and beverage bar!!!

We have our Chicken Lemon Rice soup and I also made the roasted tomato again- since you guys loved it and it marries well with the meatloaf. 😁

Happy Monday!

Things have been a little crazy lately-but should be back to “almost normal” by this weekend. We have been running short staffed due to some of my workers going back to school, vacations, and one of my long time employees leaving for a new position with the hospital (although sad to lose him-we are soooo happy he was able to obtain this position). All of you have been AMAZINGLY UNDERSTANDING during the last couple weeks and we do appreciate it.

*******Tuesday and Wednesday we will be running with a very small staff most of the day and ask for a little patience. We WILL be having our HOMEMADE MEATLOAF, MASHED POTATOES AND CORN MEALS ON TUESDAY 12-5:45p (or until sold out) and WEDNESDAY starting at 10am. However, we may be limiting some of our other menu items- to be able to properly serve you.

Thank you for all of your support! I will be getting our “Meal Menu” out soon so you can plan accordingly. I have decided that our Friendsgiving meal will be the end of October-details to follow!!!!!

Good Morning.

I avoid politics at all costs and don’t care what people’s personal political beliefs are. I also feel VERY STRONGLY that my shop should be a place of political neutrality.

However, this is one day when I will say something- 25-years ago our country went through a tragedy that seemed so unreal at the time. Even looking back it was shocking and unbelievable what was happening at the time. But, if there was any positive thing to come out of it was the way everyone came together afterward, supporting and helping one another. May those memories also be in our minds today.

We will have chicken lemon rice and cheesy potato soup today….yummmmm
