Well, our friends from Highway 151 decided Creekside deserves a proper send-off. ❤️

So on Friday, August 14 from 5–7pm, they're putting on a FREE SHOW at Creekside and we want you to come hang out with us.

Bring your chairs.
Bring your kids.
Bring your neighbors.
Bring your ice cream appetite.

We're going to sit outside, listen to some great live music, eat a ridiculous amount of ice cream and celebrate this sweet little place together.

And because we're trying to EMPTY. THE. PLACE. before our final day on August 21:

After a lot of thought, we've made the difficult decision that The Creekside Scoop's final day will be Friday, August 21.

When we opened Creekside, we hoped it would become one of those little places people wove into their lives. A stop after baseball. A Friday night treat. A place grandparents could spoil their grandkids. A reason to sit on the patio just a little longer.

Because of you, it became all of those things.

This wasn't an easy decision, but it has been the right one.

The reality is that running a seasonal small business has become increasingly challenging. The costs of ingredients, labor, insurance, utilities and just about everything else continue to rise. While Creekside has been deeply loved by our community, we've reached a point where a seasonal business in this space is no longer financially sustainable.

This wonderful space also deserves its next chapter. Beginning today, we'll be looking for the next business to call it home. If you've ever dreamed of opening something in Cross Plains—or know someone who has—we'd love to connect. The space will be available beginning October 1.

Until then, we'd love your help giving Creekside the sendoff it deserves.

We'll also be offering deep discounts on all retail merchandise, candy and ice cream through our final day.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room... Wisconsin weather. 🌪️⛈️❄️

We're Midwesterners, which means it takes quite a bit for us to close. But when severe weather rolls in, we'll always choose safety over staying open.

That means there may be times when we close early, close temporarily, or adjust our hours. If you're visiting us during severe weather and our staff asks everyone to head to the basement, please join us there until it's safe.

We'll always post updates on social media if weather impacts our hours.

☕️ Parents, grandparents, caregivers... this one's for you. ☕️

The Play Café at The Scoop is NOW OPEN Monday–Friday from 8am–12pm, and it's basically the easiest part of your day.

Grab your coffee, pick up a few baked goods, snag a treat for the kids, and settle in while they burn off some energy. Let them play inside, explore outside, make a mess, and leave the crumbs for us.

We've got our A-team over there—people who genuinely love kids and don't mind the inevitable trail of Goldfish crackers behind them.

Park the stroller. Meet a friend. Stay awhile.

No pressure. No cleaning. No trying to keep your living room from looking like a tornado hit it.

Just good coffee, happy kids, and a place where everyone can relax.
