Starting October 1st, I’ll officially be accepting orders again! 🤎

I’m SO excited to get my hands back into baking and creating sweets for all of your special occasions. I’ve truly missed it and can’t wait to be back! 🥹🧁

It seems like my post from about a month ago may have caused some confusion, so I just wanted to clear a few things up.

I’m not quitting, and I’m definitely not a quitter. ❤️ I simply needed a mental break—a chance to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy the rest of the summer with my boys.

In my post, I said I would no longer be taking custom orders for the time being. I also shared that my goal was to focus more on my farm stand and offer sweets whenever time allowed. That hasn’t changed, and I’m so thankful I’ve been able to do just that.

the good news is I plan to start taking custom orders again this fall!

thank you all so much for the love, support, and encouragement you’ve shown shady lane sweet shop over the years. It truly means more to me than you’ll ever know. I appreciate each and every one of you.

After a lot of thought, I have decided that I will no longer be taking custom orders for Shady Lane Sweet Shop at this time.

Life has been pulling me in a lot of different directions lately, and I need to take a step back and focus on what matters most right now. Any orders that have already been placed and have a deposit paid will absolutely be completed as promised. However, as of today, I will not be accepting any new orders.

Moving forward, my plan is to focus more on my farm stand and continue growing it by offering fresh eggs, vegetables, fresh flower bouquets, and weekend sweet treats when time allows.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has supported Shady Lane Sweet Shop over the years. Whether you placed an order, shared a post, left a kind comment, or simply liked a photo, your support has meant more than you know. I am incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

This isn’t goodbye forever—just a pause while I focus on this next chapter. Thank you all for understanding and for being part of this journey ❤️
