LONG POST ALERT: This post is not to rant about others, but so you all understand how much hard work and planning I do to decorate so here goes...I see lots of post from people about different cookie places and cupcakes shops... ex: Crumbl Cookies, Scratch Cupcakery & etc. I have also been watching lots of bakers and cookie decorators on TikTok and their cookies are amazing. Just an FYI - I can do about anything these places do. But the longer I watch the more I figure out how they get such perfect lines and writing. They use machines - and they get $60-$80 PER DOZEN!!! π One person uses something called an Eddie... I checked on it... $3,000... I was like what the hell... Nope! This little small southern Iowa town girl can't afford that. I never ask questions, because I don't want others to think I am trying to steal anything from them. I make my own cookie dough, I roll out and bake my own cookies, I make frosting (royal icing or buttercream) from scratch, I decorate all my cookies on my own! I have learned some tips that have helped me for sure but I am a baker who loves to do what I do... This cookie below was very time consuming and difficult, but that is what I love about this.... my customer ordered 30th class reunion cookies for Corning Raiders.... I asked for the logo and π²π²π²π²π² is what I thought.... she says don't worry about that it is way to difficult... I said ok and she gave me other ideas. BUT Sprinklez Bakery has to try everything at least once... the bigger the challenge the better! If I can look at the picture then I can usually draw it onto something... I wish I had used a little larger circle, but it worked pretty dam good! Sorry for the long post, but wanted everyone to know how much work I put into my stuff! Thank you to all my loyal customers... I appreciate all of you! You can place any order by messaging me here. I am working on getting another order form built.. but for now, messenger it is. If you have read this entire post and are here .. please post a blue heart emoji in the comments!
