​We are incredibly honored to have the amazing Mira Rai hanging out with us in Crested Butte. Jokes aside, Mira is here on a serious mission. Through the Mira Rai Initiative, she is empowering the next generation of young female athletes in Nepal to chase their dreams.

Our hearts are heavy today as we think about the recent floods in Nepal. We are sending our love and prayers to everyone affected. From Nepal to our own mountain communities, we are all like family, and we stand together during this difficult time. ❤️🇳🇵

The mountains test us in unimaginable ways, teaching us deep lessons about resilience, teamwork, and humility. That is exactly the spirit we are gathering to share with you.

On September 26th, we invite you to join us for a special evening called 'Beyond the Summit.' You will hear the amazing, true stories of five Sherpa climbers right here in Crested Butte.

Hear from Nima Doma Sherpa, who led a team of widows to the top of Everest; three brothers—Panuru, Danuru, and Mingma—who have each climbed Everest 16 times; and Pasang Dawa Sherpa, a 9-time summiter and global role model.

It will be a powerful night of storytelling, community, and culture. We’ll be serving FREE food from Sherpa Cafe and sharing a special Sherpa dance performance! 🥟🏔️

It’s been a heavy few weeks at the cafe. While we are here doing what we love—cooking and serving this community—our hearts are with the communities in Nepal devastated by the recent floods.

​We believe that the purpose of hard work is to be able to help others when it counts.
