During the month of March, Bon Appétit Management Company commemorates and celebrates the importance of all women in our food system from culinarians and farmers to managers and leaders.

Although old-fashioned notions of gendered roles have long placed women in the kitchen, leadership roles in the culinary, hospitality, and food production fields are still largely dominated by men.

Bon Appétit is committed to uplifting and making space for women in the food system. Here's how we make space for all women:

1️⃣ We confront and dismantle structural inequities in our hiring efforts.

2️⃣ We seek diverse suppliers and prioritize certified Minority and Women-owned (MWBE) local businesses.

3️⃣ We ensure employment and advancement opportunities are available to all team members, especially those disadvantaged by structural inequities.

Join us in celebrating the women pushing forward the movement for a sustainable food future — in the fields, in our kitchens, and beyond.
