As a community, we grieve this week’s murders in Atlanta, where the victims included six Asian women. These attacks are the latest example of ongoing violence and discrimination against Asians and Pacific Islanders, which sadly has seen a sharp increase in the US since the start of the pandemic. We stand against hate and mourn for those who have been hurt and killed. Please join the Cranford Unity Project at a vigil in solidarity with the Asian community this Sunday, March 21, at 5PM in Nomahegan Park. We will gather on the main lawn near the playground. Signs are encouraged, masks and social distancing required.
